Die Gesamtzahl der Instagram-Nutzer:innen in der Schweiz ist gestiegen: Waren es 2025 noch 4,1 Millionen, sind es im Mai 2026 rund 4,2 Millionen.
Die Altersgruppe der 25- bis 34-Jährigen ist nach wie vor mit etwas mehr als 30% aller Nutzer:innen am stärksten vertreten.

Bei der Analyse nach Geschlecht und Alter zeigt sich, dass in den meisten Altersgruppen mehr weibliche als männliche Nutzer:innen vertreten sind. Eine Ausnahme bildet die Altersgruppe der 25- bis 34-Jährigen, wo der Männeranteil leicht überwiegt.

In der Schweiz nutzen aktuell rund 4,2 Millionen Menschen monatlich Instagram. Damit liegt die Zahl etwas höher als noch im Oktober 2025 (4.1 Mio.) und deutlich höher als noch im August 2024 (3.9 Mio.). Im August 2023 lag sie bei 4.0 Millionen. Die Nutzerzahlen bewegen sich damit seit mehreren Jahren auf einem konstant hohen Niveau mit leichten Schwankungen.
