Age statistics for Instagram in Switzerland
Seit März 2020 ist die Gesamtzahl der Instagram Nutzerinnen und Nutzer in der Schweiz konstant bei 3,8 Millionen User:innen geblieben.
Die Altersgruppen zwischen 13 und 24 sowie 25 und 34 sind nach wie vor mit je rund einem Drittel aller Instagram Nutzerinnen und Nutzer am meisten vertreten.

Werden Geschlecht und Alter genauer betrachtet, so kann insbesondere bei der Altersgruppe unter 34 mehr männliche Nutzer betrachtet werden. Im Alter über 35 hingegen gibt es mehr Nutzerinnen. Eine statistische Angabe zu nicht binären Personen ist nicht verfügbar.

Schweizweit sind auf Instagram 49,8 % weibliche Nutzerinnen und 50,2 % männliche Nutzer aktiv. Dieses Verhältnis hat sich seit April 2021 kaum verändert. Eine statistische Angabe zu nicht binären Personen ist nicht verfügbar.
Reach via Instagram Stories
Instagram ist eine Mobile App, deshalb werden die Nutzer:innen auch hauptsächlich (zu fast 100 %) über mobile Endgeräte erreicht.
Mit Instagram Stories können 3,1 Mio. User:innen schweizweit erreicht werden.
iOS vs. Android
65 % Personen können in der Schweiz via iOS-Geräte (iPads, iPhones und iPods) und 35 % via Android-Geräte (Android Smartphones und Android Tablets) auf Instagram erreicht werden.

In der Schweiz sind monatlich 3,8 Mio. Instagram User:innen online. Im Vergleich dazu stehen 2,7 Mio. aktive Nutzer:innen monatlich im Jahr 2020 und 2,4 Mio. aktive Nutzer:innen monatlich im Jahr 2019.
Seit April 2021 stagniert das Wachstum von Instagram.
