Instagram Usage Statistics for Switzerland in 2026

The total number of Instagram users in Switzerland has increased: While there were 4.1 million in 2025, the number rose to about 4.2 million in May 2026. 

The 25- to 34-year-old age group continues to be the largest, accounting for just over 30% of all users.

An analysis by gender and age shows that in most age groups, there are more female users than male users. The exception is the 25- to 34-year-old age group, where men slightly outnumber women.
